Mentum is designed without advertising or analytics tracking. This page explains the limited browser storage and cookies that may be used to keep the application working.
Essential functionality
Mentum and its Firebase services may use cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, or similar browser storage to keep authentication sessions working, remember application state, and support reliable cloud synchronization. These are necessary for the signed-in dashboard to function.
Google and Firebase
Google sign-in and Firebase may set or access their own cookies or browser storage when they provide authentication and cloud service functionality. Their use is governed by Google’s own policies and can vary by browser, location, and account settings.
Third-party service policies
The following services are connected to Mentum and may use browser storage necessary to provide their services:
- Google Sign-In — authenticates the account used to access your workspace. Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore — support sign-in and cloud dashboard storage. Firebase Privacy and Security
Mentum does not control browser storage set by these providers. Their policies and service behavior may vary by browser, location, and account settings.
No advertising or analytics cookies
Mentum does not intentionally use advertising, cross-site marketing, profiling, or third-party analytics cookies. It does not display a consent banner for optional tracking because the application does not include optional tracking categories.
How to control cookies
You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or remove locally stored application state. Blocking essential storage can prevent Google sign-in, Firebase synchronization, or the dashboard from working correctly.

Mentum does not use optional analytics cookies, so there is no separate analytics opt-out setting.

A person operating a public deployment should review the actual Firebase, hosting, and browser-storage configuration and update this policy if any optional cookies, analytics, or third-party tools are introduced.
